This course provides the student with core knowledge and skills to function in the capacity of an EMR arriving at the scene of a medical/trauma emergency and provide care until advanced emergency responders arrive.\nStudents who successfully complete this program are eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) EMR certification test.
