TARGET AUDIENCE:   Registered Nurses, Paramedics, EMTs, EMRs

Course Objectives:

  1. Define Adverse Childhood Experiences and their impact on patient health
  2. Explore the barriers to screening for ACE’s/violence exposure in the healthcare setting.
  3. Improve screening, identification and care for the patient experiencing violence.
  4. Identify risk factors for violence in medical history, presentation, and assessment
