EMERGENCY MEDICINE TRAINING COURSE
FALL 2016
In collaboration, Penrose-St. Francis EMS Institute and Pikes Peak Community College are offering Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) training. This course provides the student with core knowledge and skills to function in the capacity of an EMR arriving at the scene of a medical/trauma emergency and provide care until advanced emergency responders arrive.
Students who successfully complete this program are eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) EMR certification test. In addition, the course prepares students to enter a variety of PPCC emergency medicine programs.
