2017 Regional Paramedic Refresher – 1/30/17
2017 Regional Paramedic Refresher:
In 2017, Teller and El Paso County EMS agencies have again agreed to pool resources and participate in a regional paramedic refresher course. The course dates are January 23, 26, 30, February 2, 6, and 7. Class hours are from 0800-1700 at the El Paso/Teller County 911 building located at 2350 Airport Road in Colorado Springs. Please plan on arriving early to sign in. This is a secured facility and all attendees are required to sign in every day and provide a valid driver’s license.
We have arranged for over 30 experts from Children’s Hospital, UCHealth, Centura, and other experts to provide lectures during this course. There are two formats to get CE credits: attend in person or watch the interactive webcast. The webcast will allow those who are unable to attend the ability to watch the lectures live. In order to received CE credits for watching the live webcast, it is the responsibility of your agency’s training coordinator to sign for your CE credits and verify attendance. ONLY those who attend the lectures at the El Paso/Teller County 911 building will receive a signed letter with the appropriate CE credits. It will be the responsibility of the respective agency to grant CE credit to those that view any of the broadcasts.
There will be NO makeup days and NO recording of these lectures.
Attached is the most current speaker/topic schedule. A list of remote locations where you may watch the lectures is attached. CE will be available for those locations. BE SURE TO SIGN IN with your full name for credit.
