TARGET AUDIENCE:   Registered Nurses, Paramedics, EMTs, EMRs

Course Description:

This is a four day course on EKGs.  No prior EKG experience needed to take this class.  It will start with anatomy and physiology on August 10th with Dr. Hakkarinen.  It will continue through all rhythms and expand into basic interpretation of 12 lead EKGs.

Course Objectives:

  1. Learn basic cardiac anatomy and physiology.
  2. Be able to identify basic rhythms.
  3. Be able to identify MI patterns on a 12-lead EKG.
