Become a National Registry Certified EMR

The Penrose-St. Francis EMS Institute is offering Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) training.  This course provides the student with core knowledge and skills to function in the capacity of an EMR arriving at the scene of a medical/trauma emergency and provide care until advanced emergency responders arrive.

Students who successfully complete this program are eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) written EMR certification test.

BLS CPR is a prerequisite and will be taught and included in the cost of the EMR Course.
