Spinal Splinting Case Objectives:
- Review the EL Paso and Teller County Spinal Splinting protocol as it
pretains to the cases presented.
- Discuss the EMS provider spinal splinting decision process and the impact
it can have on effective patient care.
- Discuss the ED to discharge treatment and care of the patient with a spinal
injury (case review).
