Advanced Stroke Life Support Penrose- St. Francis

The Department of Professional Resources will be offering Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS) CE Course.
What is ASLS?
This course addresses the pre-hospital, emergency department, and stroke unit management of patients with acute stroke. Using interactive discussions, hands-on workshops, multimedia and standardized patients, the course includes rapid recognition of five major stroke syndromes and use of a focused neurologic evaluation to identify stroke, its location, severity, and thrombolytic therapy considerations in acute ischemic stroke patients.
